Field's Native Nursery is a tree planting contractor dedicated to providing sound environmental and economical solutions for rural and corporate revegetation in NSW
Field's Native Nursery is a propagation nursery, producing 250,000 seedlings in hiko cells each year for use in the revegetation industry around the state of NSW.
An extensive seed bank is kept to provide a seed source for over 200 species of native plants. A grass seed harvester has been built with a grant from Inverell CMA (2009) to supply commercial quantities of native grass seed. See Resources
Plants are grown on order, to coincide with prearranged delivery dates to supply:
- Small landholders planting just a few hundred seedlings for windbreaks
- Environmental wetland planting for local councils
- Eucalypt plantations
- Mining rehabilitation
- Corporate development requirements
- Chemical buffer zones for cotton growers
- Landcare Group Projects
- Rivercare Group Projects
- National Parks & Wildlife Projects
- Roads & Traffic Authority roadside revegetation
